A Mechanical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency. This role involves inspecting machinery, diagnosing issues, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial, commercial, or residential equipment.

Distributed mechanical responsibilities for the upkeep and servicing of food processing machinery. Executed repairs as needed during the processing season to fulfill production objectives. Rebuilt and set up plant equipment during non-operational periods to anticipate the next scheduled production cycle.

Responsibilities of Mechanical Technician:

• Inspect, repair, and ensure the proper upkeep of machinery, as well as equipment across the facility
• Diagnose problems, fix malfunctions, and substitute machinery when needed
• Examine drafts and schematics to ascertain the organization of allocated assignments
• Develop, produce, join, and mount equipment as specified
• Ensure detailed logs of job activities and maintenance tasks accomplished
• Keep an eye on equipment operation and adjust as needed
• Enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations in manufacturing operations
• Tasks as delegated
