Job Summary of Maintenance Worker:

A Maintenance Worker is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency. This role involves inspecting machinery, diagnosing issues, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial, commercial, or residential equipment.

Assigned mechanical tasks aimed at sustaining and fixing food processing equipment. Carried out repairs during the processing season to achieve production targets. Revamped and deployed plant machinery during non-operational periods to ensure readiness for upcoming production activities.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Worker:

• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility
• Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
• Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
• Ensure that GMP's (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned
